Leadership at IMG

Kam is founder and CEO of IMG, and he is responsible for the company’s vision, mission, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, customer retention/attraction, global footprint, business processes, management decisions and overall continuous improvement for the precision engineering company.

Prior to founding IMG in 2004, he was Managing Director at Agility Capital, Inc. in New York, an early-stage venture capital investment firm. He also spent several years at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in the Financial Sponsors Group where he worked as a senior originator and underwriter. In addition, he spent years in the banking industry with Mitsui and NationsBank, and his early career was inside the Canadian Consulate General in Atlanta, Georgia, the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo, Japan and the U.S. Consulate in Toronto, Canada.

Kam is certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt. Six Sigma is a well-known business management strategy taught to improve the quality of process outputs by identifying and removing the causes of defects (errors) and minimizing variability in manufacturing and business processes. He is fluent in German, Japanese and Farsi.

He received a Masters in International Management at Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona. In addition, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Kam also holds an International Baccalaureate degree from American International School in Vienna, Austria.

Mahesh has more than two decades of experience encompassing operations management, engineering management, NPI project management, team building, process development, designing, CAD/CAM, CNC programming up to 5-axis, machining, molds and press tool design and manufacturing. He has worked with machine shop manufacturing industries (automotive & semiconductor), engineering and CAD/CAM service industries. He has hands-on experience on most machining processes like milling, turning, surface and cylindrical grinding, jig grinding, wire-cut and wire EDM. His dynamic and comprehensive career includes serving as Vice-President of Operations, Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Project Leader, Project Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer and Design Engineer.

Mahesh completed his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor’s of Science equivalent degree in Mechanical technology (tool & die making) from the Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering in Delhi, India. Tool & die making is the foundation of his engineering and manufacturing expertise. He also has certification in CNC Machining Operation and Programming.

Brian’s responsibilities include overseeing the Engineering and Programming departments at IMG, as well as executing and implementing corporate strategies and policies.

He has significant experience in contract manufacturing at the management level and a core background in project management and process improvement. He received his Masters of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Southern California and Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Suleiman is the Chief Administrative Officer at IMG. He is responsible for our HR and IT policies, and he oversees the automation, viability, continuity and security of the IT infrastructure. He is also involved in the development, implementation and monitoring of the company’s information systems and performance.

He is a key member of the Factory of the Future and Cell Control Project Team at SEMATECH, where leading semiconductor businesses come together to leverage resources, increase productivity and lower costs. Aboutaam is also a member of a team that defined the specification for the Real Time Reporting System, currently owned and sold by Applied Material.

Prior to IMG, Suleiman served in director of information technology and engineering roles at Zilog, Inc., Submicron Technology PLC, STMicroelectronics, National Semiconductor and United Technology MOSTAK.

He has a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Texas A&M, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Southeastern Oklahoma University.
